Instrument-assisted (low-force) adjustments

Instrument Assisted (low force) Adjustments

What is it?

Instrument assisted adjustments use handheld tools that can provide gentle and targeted mobilization of the joints all throughout the body. Just like more traditional approaches, these lower force adjustments improve motion, function, and sensation of the body region adjusted.

Why do we use it?

Instrument assisted adjustments are beneficial in treating patients who would benefit from gentler adjusting techniques. This form of adjustment can be beneficial for patients that are hypermobile, pregnant, or have osteoporosis. Some of our patients even prefer it because it does not result in “clicking” or “popping” sounds of the joint.
