Shoulder Problems

Common Shoulder Problems

Many common shoulder problems can respond well to chiropractic care, especially when the pain is related to muscles, tendons, joints, or posture. These may include:

  • Shoulder impingement
  • Rotator cuff irritation or tendinitis
  • Bursitis
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Stiffness or restricted movement in the shoulder, neck, or upper back

Chiropractic care is often used as a conservative approach to help reduce pain, improve movement, and support healing.

At Chiropractic Partners we will diagnose your shoulder problem and then initiate a treatment plan to help you get back to normal activities.  If warranted, we can take X-rays and refer you for an MRI.  We may use tape, laser, & activity modifications to reduce pain. We can also refer you to an orthopedic surgeon should you need medication or injections for severe pain.  We often use shockwave therapy and soft tissue mobilization to free up restricted movement in the muscles and fascia & to facilitate healing. If you have restricted joint mobility we will use chiropractic adjustments.  Finally, we use rehab exercises directed at both the shoulder and overall postural muscles.
